Editorial

Editorial policy

This site compares companies that would very much like to be ranked first. This page sets out the rules that keep that from mattering, and what we do when we get something wrong.

Independence

No placement on this site is for sale. We do not accept payment, equity, services or hospitality in exchange for inclusion, position, wording or the timing of a review. We run no affiliate links and earn no commission when a reader contacts a provider — every outbound company link is a plain editorial reference, and the site earns nothing whether you click it or not.

No company in the ranking has been shown its entry in advance for approval. Providers may write to us with corrections after publication, on the same terms as anybody else.

Equal treatment

Every company profile follows one template: the same fields, the same link format, the same call to action, and a length budget that keeps entries within a narrow band of each other. No entry gets a bonus section, a testimonial slot, a quote box or a badge that others do not have. The only thing that differs between entries is the evidence behind them.

Evidence standards

  • Claims about a company are sourced from the company's own public material, a regulator, a court or insolvency record, or established press — and are attributed in the text where the claim is unusual.
  • Where a provider's own claim cannot be verified independently, we either attribute it plainly to the provider or leave it out. We do not restate marketing as fact.
  • Regulatory statements are checked against the regulator's own publication, not a secondary summary.
  • Nothing on this site is legal, investment or tax advice. It is editorial information intended to help a buyer build a shortlist.

Why we never name suspected scam operators

The crypto recovery space contains a large number of operators we cannot verify. We describe the pattern — guaranteed recovery percentages, chat-only contact, no registered entity, pressure for full payment upfront — and we do not publish brand names alongside it. Naming an unverified operator either hands it attention it did not earn, or exposes us to a dispute we cannot resolve with the evidence available to a desk research team. Readers are better served by a test they can apply themselves to any provider, including the ones listed here.

Use of AI

Research tooling, including AI-assisted search and drafting, is used in production. Every factual claim, figure, date and outbound link is checked by a human against a primary source before publication, and the editorial desk is accountable for what appears, not the tooling.

Corrections

If something here is inaccurate, tell us and we will fix it. Substantive corrections — anything that changes the meaning of a claim about a company, a regulator or a recovery outcome — are made in the text and the page's review date is updated. Typographical fixes are made silently. If we decline to make a change, we will tell you why. Write to editors@best-crypto-forensics-companies.com or use the contact form.

Submissions

Any provider may ask to be considered. A submission is assessed against the same five criteria as every existing entry, and being submitted confers no advantage: see our methodology for the criteria, and add a company to send one in.

Funding

The site is self-funded and carries no advertising, sponsorship or paid listings. If that changes, the disclosure will appear here first, in plain language, before any commercial arrangement goes live.
